AI NEWSLatest AI NewsArticleMicrosoft Confirms Development of Copilot AI Super App, Integrating Chat, Coding, and Intelligent Agent CapabilitiesPublished in Latest AI NewsTime :Jul 30, 2026Read :3minuteMicrosoft is developing an AI “super app” that integrates Copilot chat, coding assistant, and intelligent agent capabilities. Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s CEO, confirmed in the latest earnings call that the app is planned to launch this year and will cover both consumer and business use cases.Nadella stated that Copilot is rapidly evolving from a simple chat assistant to areas such as collaborative work and automation. Microsoft will integrate different Copilot experiences this quarter, including code capabilities, and incorporate them into a unified super app platform. He believes this will be an important step in Copilot’s development and more details will be announced in the future. This confirmation responds to previous reports by Fortune magazine about Microsoft’s development of an AI super app. According to the report, the app will integrate multiple Microsoft AI product capabilities, including Copilot chatbot for general interactions, GitHub Copilot for developers, Copilot Cowork for team collaboration, and an intelligent agent system with task automation capabilities.Microsoft’s move also reflects the shift in AI assistant competition from single-function tools to comprehensive AI platforms. Previously, OpenAI also launched a new ChatGPT Work app, combining ChatGPT with the AI coding tool Codex, exploring an integrated AI experience in office scenarios. In terms of finance, Microsoft’s revenue in the last quarter reached $90 billion, with artificial intelligence and cloud services being key drivers of growth. As major tech companies continue to integrate models, tools, and agent capabilities, AI super apps may become an important gateway for both enterprise and individual users to access artificial intelligence in the future.

AI NEWSLatest AI NewsArticleBuilding a Learning AI Customer Service: Encore AI Secures $30 Million in Series A Funding to Monetize Enterprise Conversation DataPublished in Latest AI NewsTime :Jul 30, 2026Read :3minuteRecently, the artificial intelligence startupEncore AIannounced a $30 million Series A funding round, led by Team8, with participation from Planven, Lukatz, and several banks and insurance institutions. The company focuses on training and deploying intelligent voice agents that can work independently or assist teams by analyzing daily conversations between companies and their customers. The company was initially founded in 2022 by CEO Dvir Ginzburg, primarily providing recommendation software for financial advisors. Today, the brand has been rebranded as Encore AI, with its core business focused on analyzing call recordings, emails, and texts between employees and customers to identify key communication paths that lead to business success. Ginzburg refers to this process as “interaction mining,” and its platform connects large volumes of customer service data with CRM systems to extract effective response strategies and scripts used by top-performing employees.Currently, the platform can interact directly with customers through voice or text and provide real-time suggestions to employees during the conversation. According to official information, the company currently has more than 40 global enterprise customers, mostly financial institutions, and its annual recurring revenue has grown more than five times in less than 18 months.Facing potential competitive pressure from large CRM giants like Salesforce and SAP, Ginzburg pointed out that merely having data is not enough. Traditional vendors looking to use historical conversations as the foundation for intelligent agents must completely restructure their technology stack. According to reports, this round of funding will be used to expand sales operations in the U.S. market and promote the platform’s deployment in more large financial institutions.

AI NEWSLatest AI NewsArticleMCP Startup Runlayer Accuses Rippling of Allegedly Stealing Its Product IdeasPublished in Latest AI NewsTime :Jul 30, 2026Read :3minuteWhen AI infrastructure meets a “crisis of trust,” the competition between big companies and startups is escalating. The startup focusing on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) security gateway,Runlayer, has recently filed a lawsuit in court, accusing human resources software companyRipplingof stealing its product ideas and trade secrets. This legal dispute reveals the intense competition and potential risks behind enterprise technology procurement in the AI era.According to the complaint, the two parties had engaged in deep engineering collaboration and product trials for nearly a year. During this time,Runlayershared its core product roadmap and underlying source code withRippling, a potential customer. Both parties signed a non-disclosure agreement and a trial agreement containing intellectual property protection clauses. However, the testing was terminated as the two parties failed to reach an agreement on the purchase price. Not long after,Runlayer’s founder and CEO Andrew Berman received information from an internal source thatRipplingwas secretly developing a clone project almost identical to the startup’s product. Based on this,Runlayerbelieves that the other party is suspected of infringing on trade secrets, breaching the contract, and engaging in unfair competition. In response to the allegations,Ripplingconfirmed that it is launching its own MCP gateway but denied the accusation of abusing intellectual property rights, stating that its product is based on its own technological development.WithAnthropicreleasing an open-source protocol, the MCP gateway has gradually become a key infrastructure connecting AI models with external data. However, as market competition intensifies, many large companies with strong engineering capabilities often choose to develop in-house, which puts many AI infrastructure startups relying on financing into a difficult dilemma.

AI NEWSLatest AI NewsArticleSamsung Electronics’ Quarterly Profit Surges 180 Times: AI Storage Holds the Line, Phones and Home Appliances Are Losing MoneyPublished in Latest AI NewsTime :Jul 30, 2026Read :5minuteSamsung Electronics announced its Q2 2026 financial results on July 30. Benefiting from the surge in both volume and price of AI storage chips, the company’s total revenue reached 171.5 trillion South Korean won (about 805 billion Chinese yuan), a 130% year-on-year increase, setting a new record for a single quarter; operating profit soared to 89.5 trillion South Korean won (about 420.1 billion Chinese yuan), surging by 1813.8% year-on-year. Driven by the global AI boom, Samsung’s sales and operating profit have set records for three consecutive quarters.Semiconductors contributed more than 99% of the profits, with HBM as the absolute engineLooking at the business segments, Samsung’s semiconductor division reported sales of 127.5 trillion South Korean won and operating profit of 89.2 trillion South Korean won, driving almost all of the company’s earnings. The share of server storage chips in revenue reached a new high, with large-scale shipments of high-performance HBM4 and the start of delivery of HBM4E samples. Samsung expects continued increased capital spending on AI infrastructure and widespread adoption of intelligent agents in the second half of the year, leading to further growth in demand for server DRAM, enterprise SSDs, and HBM.However, outside of semiconductors, the situation is different. The mobile phone business generated a total revenue of 33.2 trillion South Korean won but recorded an operating loss of 70 billion South Korean won. Although flagship phones drove revenue, component costs remained tight. The TV and white goods business generated a total revenue of 14.5 trillion South Korean won, also recording a small loss. The profit contribution rate from the semiconductor department has exceeded 99%, transforming Samsung’s profit structure into a “single-engine” model.Profit surged but market value dropped by 40%, with a ‘buy the expectation, sell the fact’ scenario unfoldingDespite the impressive financial figures, Samsung’s stock price has fallen by 40% from its peak on June 1, with the current market value around 1327 trillion South Korean won. This month alone, the South Korean KOSPI index has declined nearly 29%, surpassing the record set during the 1997 Asian financial crisis. The South Korean Ministry of Finance has urgently increased restrictions on leveraged products.According to researcher Quan Xiaoxing from the University of International Business and Economics, the performance boom driven by AI had already been fully anticipated by the market, representing a typical “buy the expectation, sell the fact” scenario. Deeper concerns lie in investors’ anxiety about whether the capital expenditure cycle for AI chips is nearing its peak, which could trigger a reversal in the semiconductor industry cycle. Additionally, the ongoing losses in non-core businesses such as mobile phones and home appliances have raised questions about the company’s long-term health. Furthermore, previous strike agreements mainly benefited high-profit departments such as memory chips, with a near 100-fold difference in bonuses within the same company, exposing deep-seated governance issues.

配置覆盖：通过 CLI 直接覆盖 YAML 配置项，如training.learning_rate=5e-5 training.num_train_steps=500。
